This is what’s left after they got into a box of cash my uncle had been stacking all year. He works at a strip club, saving tips in $50 bills, thinking he was being smart by hiding it instead of using a bank. Around $2,500 just sitting there like it was some genius plan.
He opens it up all proud, ready to count it, and it’s completely destroyed. Termites turned it into their personal buffet. Chewed straight through stacks like it was nothing. Torn bills, holes everywhere, crumbs all over the box. Out of thousands of dollars, basically nothing usable left.
And honestly, I’m not even shocked. This is what happens when people think they’re smarter than basic common sense. You don’t trust banks so you trust a random box and hope bugs don’t exist? That’s the plan?
Now he’s sick over it, acting like he got robbed. No, you didn’t get robbed, you just made a dumb decision. People love saying “keep cash, don’t trust the system,” but at least the system doesn’t literally eat your money alive.
Go ahead and argue about it, but I’m saying it now. If you’re hiding stacks of cash in random places thinking it’s safer, you’re just asking for something like this to happen.
