Pulled into the street thinking it was just another quiet drive and suddenly my car is the one that gets crushed like it’s invisible.

Door caved in, glass everywhere, and I’m standing there staring at it while this guy is already acting stressed like he’s the victim in the situation. Pacing, on his phone, talking fast, like that’s supposed to undo what he just did.

That’s what makes it worse. Not even the damage, it’s the excuse. Didn’t see me. A whole car, right there, and somehow that’s the explanation.

So yeah I didn’t keep it calm. I grabbed the broken pieces off the ground and dropped them right in front of him while he was talking, told him to look at what “not seeing” actually caused.

Now I’m stuck dealing with everything that comes after, all because someone couldn’t pay attention for a few seconds.
