“Don’t read this if you hate bad service… this will annoy you.”

The ticket clearly said “NO American cheese,” but both burgers still came out with cheese like no one checked the order.
This wasn’t some complicated custom order either. It was a simple request: a cheeseburger meal with no cheese.
What’s frustrating is that the receipt itself shows the order was entered correctly, so the issue seems to have happened during preparation. It feels like the order wasn’t followed through on at the final step.
Now the customer is left with a choice: go back and deal with the inconvenience or remove the cheese themselves, which isn’t the same as receiving the correct order.
It’s understandable why mistakes like this are frustrating, especially when the order clearly states what was requested. When that kind of detail is missed, it can feel like the purpose of having those instructions isn’t being fully respected.
