If you don’t want to tip, then don’t. It’s that simple. But writing little smart remarks on the receipt like you’ve taken some bold stand? That’s just unnecessary.
Nobody forced you to leave extra. You paid your bill that’s it. The rest is your choice.
Whether it’s servers, drivers, or tradespeople, we’re doing a job, not standing there with a hand out. If you don’t think the service deserves a tip, fine. Just skip it and move on. The side comments are what make it childish.
It costs nothing to handle it like an adult.
