I’m driving through a quiet neighborhood minding my business and there is a whole hog in somebody’s front yard wilding out on top of a mailbox. Broad daylight. Cars passing. Kids probably about to get off the bus. And this animal is just out there like it owns the street. I had to slow down because the last thing I need is a two-hundred-pound surprise running into my bumper.

Who is letting livestock roam free in a residential area? That is not just “oops the gate was open.” That is dangerous. If that hog bolts into the road, somebody is swerving, somebody is crashing, and now we all dealing with it. I would be on the phone with animal control so fast because cute farm vibes stop being funny when it turns into a traffic hazard.
