My baby mama really thought she could get $300 in cash from me by claiming the kids were starving. Instead of sending money that might end up on hair, nails, or who knows what, I did the smarter thing and ordered a big grocery delivery from Walmart straight to the door.
Apparently actually providing food for my kids makes me a “broke bum,” because she started yelling the moment she realized there wasn’t any cash for her to pocket.
Meanwhile, the porch is full of grocery bags and the kitchen is stocked with food I paid for. Watching her get mad about that was honestly wild. She can call me whatever she wants, but my kids are fed and taken care of. I’m just not handing out cash anymore.
