Every time I want Chipotle, I just grab a bag off the mobile order shelf. I’m serious. There are always like twenty bags with receipts hanging off them and nobody’s checking. People walk in, grab their food, and leave, so I figured why wait in line when there’s basically a buffet of ready-made meals.
Now it’s kind of my thing. I scan the shelf, pick the heaviest bag, and whatever’s inside is what I eat that day. Sometimes it’s a bowl, sometimes three burritos, sometimes a salad I didn’t want, but it’s always a surprise.
The crazy part is nobody says a word. Employees are busy, customers come and go, and the bags just sit there like free samples. I’ve been doing this for a while, and every time I’m standing there thinking the same thing. Why isn’t anyone else doing this?
