I was driving earlier today when the car in front of me threw a drink out the window while moving, and it ended up hitting my car and windshield.
It covered the windshield and made it hard to see the road for a moment, and it also left residue and damage that I’ll need to deal with. It was a really close call and could have caused a serious accident.
The driver pulled over and handed me $40 with a note saying to get a car wash, but that obviously doesn’t fix the situation. I took it so they’d leave, but then reported the incident and noted their license plate.
It was a careless move that could have easily led to something much worse, and I’m handling it through the proper channels.
