I am actually physically shaking with rage right now. We just spent $11,000 to have this driveway paved, and this contractor has the audacity to put up caution tape and tell me I am not allowed to drive on it for seventy two hours. Are you absolutely joking me? I paid for it, I own it, and I should be allowed to use it. Now my brand new luxury vehicle is trapped on the street, and my daughter’s sixteenth birthday is in four hours and her specialized catering company cannot deliver to the house because of this “curing process.” I called the office demanding the owner come down and remove the tape, and they said it was “standard industry practice.” I do not care what your “industry standard” is, I want access to my own garage. I told him he either makes it safe for me to use immediately, or I will file for financial damages for the ruined party. How is this even legal?
