I live in a duplex with shared stairs.
After it snows, my neighbor goes out and carefully clears only their side of the stairs.
Not the whole thing. Not the shared part. Just their half.
So now one side is clean and safe, and the other side is icy and slick like it doesn’t matter.
These are shared stairs. Everyone uses them.
Snow removal isn’t a “do your half and walk away” situation when someone can slip and get hurt.
It’s not about being nice — it’s basic responsibility.
If you’re already out there shoveling, finishing the job isn’t that hard.
