My DoorDash driver apparently decided dropping my entire breakfast on the ground counted as a completed delivery.
I opened the door and found the bag with four coffees sitting right on my welcome mat. No knock, no message, nothing. The mat was dirty, the ground was wet, and one of the coffees had already started leaking out of the holder.
What bothered me most was how casually it was left there. Anyone walking by could have grabbed it or knocked everything over.
If I’m paying delivery fees and leaving a tip, the least I expect is for the order to be placed somewhere clean or handled with a little care. I ended up reporting it through the app and asking for a refund because that didn’t feel like proper delivery, it just felt careless.
