I took a DoorDash order that showed a $0 tip, even though I knew better. Part of me wanted to prove a point. If you’re comfortable ordering delivery and tipping nothing, don’t expect great energy in return.
When I pulled up, the house was huge — big driveway, lights everywhere. Clearly not struggling. That’s what pushed me over the edge. You live like that and can’t spare a few bucks for the driver?
I snapped. Dumped the food in the street, marked it delivered, and left.
They complained, DoorDash investigated, and now I’m deactivated. Somehow I’m the villain — but I still don’t get how people who refuse to tip face zero consequences.
