I picked up a DoorDash order, dealt with traffic, spent my gas and time, and they left THIS at the door. Am I wrong for knowing some people don’t deserve delivery?

Thought it would be a quick run. Picked up the food, waited around, navigated traffic, spent my gas and my time, and finally dropped it off. Then I see the tip they left. THIS. That’s it.

People really treat DoorDash drivers like we’re nothing. This is a LUXURY service, not a favor. If you can order food to your door, you can tip twenty dollars or more. Minimum.

I’m tired. My car is tired. My patience is tired. Do better or get it yourself.

Am I wrong for realizing “contactless delivery” shouldn’t mean “conscienceless customer”? For knowing my car payment doesn’t accept “exposure” as currency? For noticing the same people who “can’t afford to tip” always have money for extra guac?

I don’t want your prayers. I don’t want your thanks. I want your twenty dollars. Or get off the app. Simple math. Simple respect. Apparently too much for some.
