    On November 2, 2025, the veteran journalist shared a rare Instagram photo with her 18-year-old twins, John David and Lucy Elizabeth, during their annual visit to Burt\u2019s Pumpkin Patch. Surrounded by golden fall trees, John David stood between his mom and sister \u2014 towering over both.     Born on November 4, 2007, John David and Lucy Elizabeth arrived prematurely when Grace was 48. Their birth followed a complicated pregnancy that nearly cost her life. Only a week later, she suffered a severe pulmonary embolism \u2014 a blood clot in her lungs \u2014 and spent months recovering in a wheelchair.<\/p>\n

    Her husband, David Linch, told People she was \u201cdoing pretty doggone good,\u201d but Grace later revealed how close she had come to death. The experience, she said, completely reshaped her perspective on love and motherhood.<\/p>\n

    \u201cBefore I had the babies, I never really let myself love 100%. Lucy and John David changed all that,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n
