I’m getting pretty tired of delivery drivers showing up looking like they just rolled out of bed.
A driver pulled up to my place wearing pajama pants, slippers, and a bonnet like they were just stepping outside for a quick errand, not delivering food. They walked across the lot carrying the order like nothing was out of place.
I’m not expecting a suit and tie, but there should be some effort when you’re working and dropping off orders at people’s homes. Looking like you got dressed in the dark right before leaving doesn’t feel professional.
I ended up giving a low rating because I don’t really know what else to do. If showing up presentable is too much to expect, then maybe delivering food isn’t the right job.
