I’ve already contacted the police because this isn’t something to just overlook. Offering services without the proper licensing, permits, or oversight isn’t something neighbors should have to deal with.
Knocking on my door when there’s a clearly posted “NO SOLICITING” sign is crossing a line. That sign isn’t a suggestion, it’s a boundary, and it should be respected.
Calling it “entrepreneurship” doesn’t make it acceptable if it’s happening without following the proper rules. There are guidelines in place for a reason, especially when approaching people directly.
This situation has been frustrating, and I hope it gets addressed so it doesn’t continue.
